COMMENT: Ip Man 3 certainly did not live up to its prequels.

*Man, this was a pretty big let down for me. The film started out pretty epically, with Bruce Lee (played by Kwok-Kwan Chan) vying for attention from Ip Man (Donnie Yen) and being tested with a pretty sweet cigarette challenge. (Sounds weird, but actually pretty awesome). It went downhill from there, with mediocre acting, and an assortment of separate storylines that never fully developed or joined together at any point. I also cringed at every single scene Mike Tyson was in. WHY was he in this movie? WHY did they force him to utter Chinese words in the most atrocious manner? I will never understand. If you are a fan of this series – I recommend you just keep rewatching the first Ip Man.
