REVIEW IN ONE SENTENCE: The biggest, and most wonderful surprise of the summer.

* WOW. My intentions when walking into the theatre to watch this was to appreciate the beauty of the stop-motion process. What I didn’t expect was a beautifully-crafted, emotional film that blew my mind. The story that director Travis Knight takes us through in Kubo and the Two Strings is unbelievably well thought out, and perfectly paced – with respect to balance between plot & character development, and action. I do have to say however, that I probably wouldn’t want to take my young child to this film, unless they like being scared. Those sisters were creepy AF. Other than that, GO WATCH THIS NOW PLEASE.

ALSO.

THIS IS COOL.
